These router bit inserts provide the means of storing and organising your 1/4'' and 1/2'' shank router bit collection in any conceivable manner. Supplied as 10 individual inserts, they can be installed within shelving, cabinets and drawers or onto workbenches or router tables, as part of a completely custom storage solution.
Each insert is constructed from a strong thermoplastic rubber, selected for its durability and abrasion resistant properties. A stepped design within the inserts provides space for either 1/4” or 1/2" shank router bits, with a series of longitudinal ribs ensuring a secure hold on the shank. The secure grip provided allows bits to be stored either horizontally or vertically, with no risk of falling free.
Requiring minimal effort to install, simply drill a 16mm diameter hole, 20mm deep in the desired location and then push in the inserts for a secure, friction fit. Exterior ribbing ensures the inserts stay firmly in place as you insert and remove your router bits.
